2008 Via Ferrata Foundation Schedule

If you are between 8 and 14 years old, a girl or a boy, you have a weight problem but you would like to have fun in the mountain?

The ViaFerrata Foundation offers you free of charge activities in the mountain! The level is adaptated to each participant. This is a lot of fun with tons of great activities.

If you want you can invite one of your parent!

This is free of charge. The Foundation takes care of the costs! 

2008 Program

- If you are between  8 and 14 years old
- You leave in Switzerland or you can come on site
- You have a weight problem (overweight or obesity)

You can take part of the Via Ferrata Foundation activities

Wednesday, May 21  2008 - 14h00   Martigny - Valais - Switzerland   Level: Beginner

Take your bike for a fun afternoon! You will discover the Rhône river. Then you will visit the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Vaud. Switzerland. Head quarter of the International Cycling Union.

Between Earth and Sky

June 21-22,  2008 – Grimentz, Valais, Switzerland    Level: Beginner

Splendid weekend in an amazing location!

First day: we will walk until the Cabane of Moiry and we will spend the night in this beautiful caban in the heart of the Alps. At night we will watch the stars in the sky!

Day second: we will take the famous 2500 path. This is a beautiful path above the lac of Moiry. This walk is simply a delight

Your feet in the Air!

September 13-14, 2008 - Rougemont - Vaud - Switzerland     Level: Beginner

In the magnificent landsacpe of the Gastlosen and the  Videmanette you will learn how to rock climb. Very easy but challenging. Your parent will also try it!

On Saturday night, you will eat and sleep in one of the most beautiful landscape you can dream of!  Our guide plays the guitare.... songs and fun during the evening.

Sunday: you will climb the via ferrata of the Videmanette! This is a lot of fun!!!

You can do it and take one of your parent with you!
