From north or south, take the A41 to Annecy. Exit there and follow the D909 along the lake and then east to La Clusaz. Drive through the town and continue towards the Col des Aravis. You will find two parking areas at the beginning of the climb to the pass.

Viaferrata climbingEssentially made up of traverses, partly on grassy ledges but mainly on more or less steep rocky shelves. One very airy footbridge between two ridges and a choice of final exit; one a demanding overhang, the other easy going. Choose as you will. Lodging - Restaurant
